Ways to keep the cost down
- Clean the condenser. A clogged condenser is the most common cause of "not cooling" calls in Las Vegas and the cheapest one to fix. See our heat guide.
- Have the model number ready. It is on a label inside the fresh-food compartment, on the ceiling, or on a side wall. With it, we can often bring the correct part on the first visit.
- Call early. Small problems like a failing fan motor can lead to larger ones — a compressor that overheats from poor airflow is far more expensive.

Do you charge extra for weekends or same-day service?
We do not charge a rush fee for same-day appointments during business hours. Saturday and Sunday appointments are billed at standard rates — no weekend surcharge.
Do you offer refrigerator repair estimates over the phone?
We can give a typical range over the phone once we know the brand, model and symptoms, like the table above. We cannot give a firm price without a diagnostic, because the same symptom can come from very different failures.
Is a sealed-system repair worth it?
On a built-in luxury refrigerator, usually yes — a new built-in costs many thousands of dollars and the cabinet often lasts decades. On a freestanding refrigerator more than ten years old, a compressor or sealed-system repair often costs more than half of a new unit, and we will tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.
