Wine and beverage units we repair
- Built-in wine columns from Sub-Zero, Thermador, Viking, Miele, Monogram, Liebherr and Gaggenau
- Under-counter wine coolers and dual-zone wine refrigerators
- Beverage centers and under-counter refrigerators in kitchens, home bars and outdoor kitchens
Common problems
- Not holding temperature — dirty condenser, failed fan, failed sensor or a sealed-system leak
- Temperature swings between zones on dual-zone units
- Excess condensation or frost inside the cabinet or on glass doors
- Noisy compressor or fans, which can disturb sediment in aging wine
- Display or control panel failures
Under-counter units are especially sensitive to Las Vegas heat because they breathe through a small front grille at floor level. If that grille is blocked by a rug or dust, the compressor overheats. Outdoor-kitchen units face full summer heat and need a model rated for outdoor use.
Frequently asked questions
What temperature should my wine cooler be?
Most wine is stored long-term around 55°F. Serving temperatures vary: roughly 45°F to 50°F for whites and 60°F to 65°F for reds. A dual-zone unit lets you keep both.
Can you move wine to protect it during the repair?
We recommend moving bottles to another cool location before a sealed-system repair. For short repairs such as a fan or sensor, the bottles can usually stay in place.
