What we see most in Las Vegas homes

Built-in refrigerators in custom homes. Summerlin, The Ridges, Southern Highlands and the Scotch 80s have a high concentration of Sub-Zero, Thermador, Viking, Miele and Monogram built-ins. Many were installed when these neighborhoods were developed and are now at the age when fans, ice makers and controls need attention. A built-in from the early 2000s is usually still worth repairing.

Heat-driven failures. Las Vegas summers regularly reach 110°F and above. Kitchens run warm, and refrigerators reject heat into those kitchens. A dust-clogged condenser that would be a minor issue in a mild climate becomes a cooling failure here in July. Condenser cleaning is the most valuable maintenance a Las Vegas homeowner can do.

Hard water. Las Vegas tap water comes largely from Lake Mead and is very hard. Scale builds up in water inlet valves and ice makers, so ice maker repairs are among our most common calls.

Garage refrigerators. Second refrigerators and freezers in Las Vegas garages work in conditions they were not designed for. See garage refrigerator repair.

High-rise condominiums. We service refrigerators in condo towers near the Strip and downtown. Let us know about building access, parking and elevator reservation requirements when you book.
